Game of Thrones Takes the Title of the Most Illegally-downloaded TV Show of 2016

The hit series — Game of thrones—  has won a number of awards, one of the awards would probably make the folks behind the show displeased.


According to Torrent Freak, Game of Thrones is by far the most pirated TV series by fans on BitTorrent, making it a winner five years running. The highest number of people sharing an episode of Game of Thrones across several torrents was 350,000, right after the sixth season finale aired.
